As we face environmental degradation and escalating resource demands, the need to adapt and enhance resilience is more pressing. This dynamic landscape is shaped by technological advances, urbanization, and the vital role of policies and governance. Innovation is pivotal in driving sustainable economic improvements, while public-private partnerships play a central role in addressing resource scarcity and climate change. Therefore, understanding the current state of the populations’ development is crucial to recommend and focus actions to adapt to climate change.
This session aims to examine insights and solutions to move towards a future characterized by increased resilience and adaptability. It will focus on understanding the relationships between societal and economic improvements and the urgent challenges we face.
